About Us

WHO WE ARE

WHO WE ARE

Founded in 1952 by Mehmet Ali Durak in Ordu, Ünye, Durak Hazelnuts began its journey by supplying high-quality hazelnuts to local food producers. Through strong relationships established with rowers and suppliers across the region, the company quickly developed a reliable sourcing network. This local strength expanded onto the international stage with its first export to Germany in 1969.

Over time, what started as a local operation evolved into an international supply network, continuously broadening the company’s vision and capabilities. Every stage of the company’s growth has been guided by a commitment to quality, trust, and sustainability - core foundations that continue to define its operations today.

Today, Durak Hazelnuts supplies premium-quality hazelnuts to both domestic and global markets through its modern production facilities, sustainable business practices, and customer-focused approach. Strategically located in Türkiye’s key hazelnut-producing regions, the company reflects its commitment to quality, tradition, and innovation at every stage of its operations.
